Viscosity is an important rheological index of recycled asphalt. In order to study the viscosity composite characteristics of recycled asphalt, two types of virgin asphalt and two types of asphalt-recycling agent are individually mixed with aged asphalt, and the viscosity of recycled asphalt are measured under two different temperatures. The relationship between viscosity of aged asphalt and that of recycling agent (or new asphalt) is discussed. According to the different recycling mechanisms of two kinds of recycled asphalt with new asphalt or recycling agent, the deviant index in viscosity composite model is modified for the recycled asphalt made from aged asphalt and recycling agent. The results show that Arrhenius viscosity composite model is only applicable for the composite system that has smaller difference of viscosity between aged asphalt and new asphalt. For the composite system of aged asphalt and recycling agent, because of their larger difference of viscosity, modified composite model is a better applicable model, which can supply references for component design of the recycled asphalt.
