Effects of the Wavy Surface on a Solar Collector

摘要

The effects of wavy surface and thermal radiation heat transfer over an inclined wavy solar collector have been investigated numerically. The mathematical model presented in this paper is based on the energy transfer phenomenon within the various components of the collector. The transfer equations are discretized using the finite difference method. The important parameters in this problem are the daily sun radiations parameter Ps and the amplitude wavelength of the wavy surface of the absorber. The proposed approach indicates that the wavy surface increases in general the performance of the solar collector.
