Y_2O_3 stabilized ZrO_2 (YSZ) of which equivalent spherical diameter was 77 nm was used as nanoparticles, and YSZ/ethanol suspension with volume fraction of 38 vol.% was prepared using poly(ethylenimine) (PEI) as dispersant. Then, colloidal gelation was induced by adding small amount of nonadsorbed polymer, Poly(vinyl butral) (PVB) into the suspension. The flow behavior follows the Casson model very well. The Casson yield valueτ_c of the suspensions with and without PVB are 230 Pa and 1.5 Pa, respectively. YSZ assembled two-dimensional patterns were directly obtained by extruding the colloidal gel through micro-nozzle.
