We focus on the part of disseminating context information to enable context awareness in various users, devices, and applications, and hence enabling context-based applications in heterogeneous environments such as ambient networks. By making the network itself context-aware, significant contributions are being made in heterogeneous environments. Our 'Pure Overlay Space' based context dissemination protocol (CSON-D) is made up of a context-specific 'Multi-level Overlay' infrastructure and acts as a middleware base for virtual interaction between context entities. In this paper, we propose an optimization framework for the CSON-D protocol to support adaptation by intelligent learning-based personalization and fault tolerance by virtually redundant contextual nodes.
