The giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect in soft ferromagnet is discussed inrelation to metallic glass FeNiB and manganite. The field dependence of resistance is muchsharper than that of reactance at r.f frequency. The change in magneto-impedance (MI) is morethan 90% at few Oe magnetic field and exhibits scaling behavior. The demagnetization effect inreducing MI is demonstrated. Simple model of dynamics in ferromagnetic state indicates thescaling behavior of MI.
