There has been worldwide movement to reduce energy use in recent years via adopting more efficient materials, technologies and/or improving production processes. Polyolefins are an excellent alternative and have been successfully used for replacing metals and other less energy-efficient materials in various applications. Supported by resin optimization and the introduction of new state-of-the art stabilizers, polyolefins can satisfy the demand for higher levels of performance and new requirements. This paper will discuss examples of value creations with innovative stabilization solutions in the transportation and building and construction sectors.
