Advances in UNIPOL ~(TM) Polypropylene Products (PPT)

The CONSISTA? catalyst family offers an expanded design space of stereo regularity and molecular weight distribution that enables superior performance in several applications. The first commercial offering from this family, CONSISTA~(TM) C601, exhibits product advantages over 4th generation catalyst based PP such as increased rigidity (flex mod) in a broad range of standard homopolymers, lower haze in randoms and homopolymer thermoforming, while maintaining the outstanding stiffness/impact balance of the impact copolymers from 4th generation catalyst. The 6th generation CONSISTA? C601 is distinguished over 4th generation in that it is a non-phthalate and provides outstanding productivity (40 – 100 ton/kg). It has broad product capability and broad application coverage. This presentation show cases various application developments that showcases how this new catalyst system expands UNIPOL~(TM) based PP advantage.
