Jetfine~R Talc Products for Extreme Impact Performance and Tight Dimensional Stability

Rio Tinto Minerals has developed the Jetfine~Rtalc range of products to meet the increasingly stringent toughness and dimensional stability requirements for the production of automotive and electrical and electronic parts. Jetfine~R talcs are produced by a proprietary milling technique, which allows extended reduction in talc particle size while minimizing the damage to its platy structure. As a result, Jetfine~R talc products provide the highest impact resistance while improving the stiffness compared to typical fine talcs produced by standard milling operations and offer the optimum stiffness/toughness balance in polyolefins and engineering thermoplastic applications.
