Applications of Drainage Consolidation Techniques Treating the New Reclaimed Land

In recent years, using the hydraulic fills to carry out the reclamation construction actions has been an acceptable way to settle the contradiction between the scanty land with the rapid industrial development in coastal regions. How to improve the ultra-soft foundation made of new dredger fills efficiently has been the crucial issue. This paper presents two treatment techniques in reclamation projects, including the improvement mechanism, and the applications are briefly introduced.
