GenFC - Generic Fuel Cell Modelling Environment

Modelling plays a very important role in the development of fuel cells and fuel cell systems. Until today many companies and research organizations successfully developed their own models. One bottleneck for improved development is flow of information - from developer to developer of models, or from developer to application engineers. At this point GenFC comes into play. The project GenFC is an EC funded project in the sixth framework programme. It's motto is "To bring together the people and the information". Additional to the creation of the GenFC software itself, fuel cell models are developed in some selected fields, where essential improvements are necessary. This activity will be shown with three examples in the field of CFD, HiL and building simulation.
