Modelling plays a very important role in the development of fuel cells and fuel cell systems. Until today many companies and research organizations successfully developed their own simulation models. The development of fuel cells and fuel cell systems can not only be improved by simulation models but also by flow of information - from developer to developer of models, or from developer to application engineers and experimenters. This issue can be supported by the Generic Fuel Cell Modelling Environment (GenFC).
