In this paper, With sodium tungstate used as raw materials, nano WO_3 was synthesized by using sol-gel methed and sintering methed, and characterized by XRD、 DRS and BET. With the condition of pH=2.0, visible light irradiation and oxygen as electron acceptor, the photocatalytic activity of nano WO_3 was investigated with methyl orange as goal degradation. The degradation efficiency reached to 68.3%. The nano WO_3 prepared by sol-gel method has favorable photocatalytic activity. The photocatalytic activity increased with the decrease of particle size and the increase of cystal level and S_(BET). The photocatalytic activity on degradation efficiency was greatly affected by the concentration of electron acceptor and the solution acidity. The nano WO_3 could be used circularly as photocatalysts.
