A dynamic model of the LLC resonant converter for control response prediction

In this paper a dynamic model for the LLC resonant converter suitable for control system analysis is derived. By application of the Phasor Transform, a nonlinear equivalent circuit model for the converter is obtained which captures the dominant transient behaviour. Subsequently a small-signal model for the converter subjected to perturbation about a steady-state operating point is derived by linearisation.
