Determined the applicability of the electrolyte chemistry approach to modeling of solids, which is the alternative way to develop dynamic simulation of IGCC models; Modified the base case from DOE report to include steam, synthesis gas, and power take-offs to the EIIC; Converted steady state simulation for IGCC#1 from A+ to AD - flow driven case; Converted design specifications and calculator blocks in A+ to process controllers in AD when appropriate; Performed flow-driven dynamic simulations and evaluated control strategies.
