Assessment Modeling on Governance Risk from Controlling Shareholder and Related Corporate Performance from Listed Companies

Based on domestic and foreign evaluation and analysis of governance risk of controlling shareholder, this paper design the evaluation system of governance risk of controlling shareholder, and analyze the relationship between governance risk of controlling shareholder and corporate performance of listed companies in China. Through the empirical analysis on the relationship of the governance risk index of controlling shareholder and corporate performance, we find that the company that has low governance risk index of controlling shareholder always has better corporate performance.
