VCV waveform concatenation speech synthesis based on a pitch pattern of a natural voice

In the word speech synthesis system using the VCV waveform, as the word database to be used affects the quality of a synthetic sound, the selection of a VCV waveform is important. First, as index of the selection of a VCV waveform, this method was paid attention to rate of pitch conversion. In addition, it was used a pitch pattern to be based on a natural sound and examined the effect. In this paper, sound quality is improved in consideration of these two methods.
