Polyethyleneoxide(PEO), lithium triflate(LiCF_3SO_3 ), and SiO_2 nanofiller (15nm and 80nm in size) composites are prepared by solution cast technique and were characterized by impedance spectroscopy. The effect of filler size on ionic conductivity was investigated. The conductivity of PEO-LiCF_3SO_3 with SiO_2 15nm in size was found to be 8.23x10~(-5) S cm~(-1) at 4 wt % SiO_2 concentration. The sample PEOLiCF_3SO_3 with 80nm size SiO_2 achieved conductivity of 7.11x10~(-5)S cm~(-1) at lOwt% SiO_2 concentration. Samples with highest conductivity were further characterized by impedance spectroscopy at various temperatures ranging from 300K to 343K for analysis of temperature dependence and relaxation mechanism of the samples.
