Titanium dioxides (TiO_2) were prepared by sol-gel method. The as-prepared films deposited onto silicon and glass substrates were further annealed at temperature between 300°C to 500°C. The surface morphology, structural and optical properties of the films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and ultraviolet visible spectroscopy. From X-Ray Diffraction result, it showed that 101 planes can be observed at 25.3° which is contributed to anatase phase. Prepared TiO_2 thin film also exhibited optical transmittance from 50% to 70% within visible light wavelength.
