This article analyzed the feasibility of using the glycerol as a row material to preparation phase-change material, and two Organic-inorganic Nan composite phase change materials (CPCM) was successfully prepared by Sol-Gel process with TEOS (TEOS), lauric acid (LA), and myristic acid (MA) as the main auxiliary materials. Then the phase change temperatures and latent heats of the two systems were measured by using DTA. These mixtures have good thermal reliability and heat capacity , but the LA/GL have the more appropriate phase change temperatures and higher latent heats than.MA/GL mixture, which expected to be used for building envelope and in solar energy.
