摘要

The present study explores numerically the process of melting of a phase-change material (PCM) in rectangular geometry. The numerical analysis has been carried out by using enthalpy-porosity method and the results are verified by the experimental data. The computational results show how the transient phase-change process is affected by the natural convection that plays a vital role during melting of PCM.
