Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have garnered a great deal of interests as the idea storage media for gas storage and separation. Extensive efforts have been taken into design and development of new MOFs to leverage their storage capacity of gases, such as methane and hydrogen for clean energy technology. However, traditional MOFs constructed from copper and zinc with carboxylate are suffering from the poor stability.1 Herein, we synthesized a series of isostructural MOF with good stability for methane storage.
