摘要

Activation of C-H bonds is fundamental to fuel conversion chemistry, and development of new approaches to C-H bond activation is of interest to both academic and industrial chemists and chemical engineers. A fundamental challenge in catalysis is the selective activation of C-H bonds in the presence of C-C bonds. An illustrative example is conversion of propane, in which C-H activation yields the valuable product propylene, while thermodynamically preferred C-C activation leads to ethylene and methane.
