Solution-processable molecular semiconductors have been attracting growing interest as active materials in organic optoelectronic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs),solid-state lasers,field effect transistors (OFETs) and organic solar cells (OSCs).They combine the advantages of solution-processability previously attributed to polymers and well-defined structures and high purity associated with small molecules. In this presentation we will describe our recent progress in the development of non-doped solution-processed molecular emitters for OLEDs, along with the work from other groups.The molecular designs and device integration will be mainly discussed.
