摘要

Dry sorbent duct injection is a means for utility and large boiler operators to reduce emissions of sulfur oxides. The effectiveness of dry sorbent injection is dependent on the type of sorbent, injection location, and system operating parameters. The type of sorbent and injection location is generally a function of the desired level of control. A decision tree matrix can be used to assist operators with selecting the appropriate sorbent and injection scenario for their plant.
