In this paper, a novel detection method with self-interference reduction for double-ABBA (DABBA) quasi-orthogonal space-time code (QOSTC) is proposed, which utilizes low-dimension MMSE detection and symbols expectation (or symbols from MMSE detector) feedback in open-model. The symbols' expectations, which are derived from bit-wise soft-information(BWSI) from channel decoder, are used in self-interference reduction for low-order modulation, such as QPSK. By utilizing the expectation derived from BWSI(or symbols from MMSE detector) and equivalent space-time channel effectively, its performance, such as PER and throughput, is better than conventional MMSE detection and it's complexity is lower, because the matrix's dimensions in MMSE detection are lower, so the scheme is more realizable in chip architecture. And the proposed detection scheme can also be used in other QOSTC.
