As service technology is maturing, complex composite services are increasingly requested to satisfy challengingrequirements.  These include emph{behavioral} and emph{adaptability} dimensions, where business rules may playpotential role due to their knowledge-intensiveness and inherent dynamism and agility. We thus propose a rule-centric emph{conceptual} model, as a tailored service-driven Petri nets variant. This founded model intrinsically integrates (intra- and inter-service) {it business rules} governing adaptive and concurrent service behavior. The forwarded approach is progressive and {sc UML}-compliant. The validation is performed through symbolic computation by governing Net transitions with true-concurrent rewrite logic-based semantics.
