Reservoir prediction has become the most important task in petroleum exploration and development, which is the leading edge of seismic research[2]. Seismic attribute analysis and seismic inversion technology have become main means of reservoir prediction. It is very important to extract data of any layer between the top and bottom of target layers, or to time slicing from 3D SEGY seismic data volume for attribute analysis and in-depth study of reservoir prediction method [7] [8]. At present, doing seismic attribute analysis directly on 3D seismic data is extremely time-consuming, unrealistic and inaccurate. In order to carry out objective targeted level of seismic attribute analysis method, a fast, accurate time slicing and arbitrary horizon extraction algorithm is put forward and carried out.
