Various methods of different countries on uniaxial direct tension test are introduced and compared in this paper. It is very obvious that the tensile method used in testing has very large influence on strain-hardening result by a large number of tests. The main key of best test method is the method that can acquire the best strain-hardening effect and stable multiple cracking. So different specimen types and different load methods are all introduced and compared. At last, the best test method is obtained in this paper by the comparison.
