Actual work conditions of the coal plough are complicate. Considering stochastic cutting resistance by coal, at the same time considering the chain pretension, single-degree-of-freedom nonlinear stochastic dynamic model of the coal plough is presented. Using MATLAB/Simulink numerical solution and simulation are get. The changes of the plough body velocity and the chain tension are simulated in time domain. Simulation results indicate that cutting resistance and chain pretension have significant effects on the plough body velocity and the chain tension. It provides theory references for stabilized working of the coal plough and the reliability of the chain.
