摘要

A next generation technology of magnetic recording is proposed and verified in terms of electromagnetic simulation. Our method is based on all-optical magnetic recording using nano antennas together with particulate media. This novel method can achieve ultra-fast and high-density magnetic recording: the recording speed is about 100,000 times faster than that for conventional technology and the recording density becomes over a few Tbit/inch~2. We will evaluate the localized light generated by various nano antennas and discuss the stability of our recording method.
