Wind power is random and intermittent, and large-scale wind power access will have a greater impact on the safe and stable operation of the power system. In order to study the influence of reactive power compensation device on the voltage stability of the doubly fed fan, this paper builds a system of IEEE14 node for the doubly fed asynchronous wind farm with SVC and STATCOM modules in MATLAB/PSAT and uses SVC in time domain simulation. It is applied to the wind power generation system separately from STATCOM, and analyzes the voltage stability under sudden changes in wind speed, three-phase short-circuit fault, and load sudden increase. The simulation results show that both SVC and STATCOM can improve the voltage stability of wind farm after grid disturbance, and STATCOM has better compensation stability than SVC.
