摘要

In this paper, we describe the Iris recognition system based on 32-bit floating point Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and 32-bit Advanced RISC Machines (ARM). Iris recognition is more accurate and stability compare to other biometric recognition techniques and it is also a remote recognition using machine vision, meanwhile it is a biometric recognition technique without invasion. This paper design an embedded Iris recognition system base on ARM and DSP. The system has integrated with image acquisition, image process, image recognition and has advantages of high speed, small size, low power requirement and etc.
