This paper presents the investigation of the efficiency of energy transfer, or matching, between a nanosecond pulse source and a corona plasma reactor flushed with CO_2. In order to optimize this matching, the effects of multiple parameters are investigated, such as pulse duration and amplitude, and reactor length, as well as various inner electrodes. We conclude that, within the range of parameters investigated, matching increases with pulse length and duration, as well as with reactor length. Furthermore, the use of multiple inner electrodes resulted in matching of over 90 percent.
