The process efficiency of the optical formation of the diffraction phase optical elements by the photopolymerizable compositions is investigated in frameworks of the diffusion model. It is established, that these mediums possess intrinsic optical heterogeneities, growing up during the polymerization and being a source of the multiplicative noise. It is shown, that the scale of this intrinsic noise depends on the medium viscosity, medium contrast and intensity of the influencing radiation. Results of the numerical simulation are confirmed experimentally.
