Eucalypt and Acacia Species for Production of Solid Wood Products in China

摘要

The area of eucalypt and acacia plantations in China is currently expanding at a rapid rate and there are now over 1.5 million ha and 200,000 ha respectively of established plantations of these specie. At present the vast majority of these plantations are being managed for the production of pulp wood and the main species are Eucalyptus urophylla and its hybrids, E. grandis, E. globulus, Acacia mangium, A. crassicarpa and some A. auriculiformis.
