The results of tension and compression tests of wire after patenting and drawing

摘要

In this work results of tension and compression tests of C76 steel wire samples after patenting and drawing are presented. It is shown, that during compression test wire after different degree of deformation has in elastic-plastic stage lower value of Yield stress than it is in tensile test. Followed deformation of earlier tensed and compressed wire shown, that it has lower elastic strain than it was in first load.
