The invariants of metal behavior in dynamic fracture (f~10~6-10"10s longevity range) have been found.. The dynamic invariant allows the behavior of untested metals and alloys to be predicted under extreme conditions and new alloys resistant to certain types of pulse effects to be constructed using numerical methods.
