In this research, microstructure and densification of Al-Cr-Si alloy fabricated by using gas-atomization and spark plasma sintering processes are investigated. Al-25Cr-5Si (at.%) alloy powder was successfully prepared by gas atomization. Most of the atomized powder particles were fine and spherical in morphology. The median particle size of the atomized powder was 36.046 μm. Using a pulsed current activated sintering (PCAS) process at 600, 800, 900, or 1000 °C, Al-Cr-Si was densified from the fine Al-Cr-Si powder. With increasing temperature from 800 °C, Al_8Cr_5 and AlCrSi phases were increased. By increasing the temperature from 600 to 1000 °C, the density increased from 2.88 to 3.48 g/cm~3, which corresponded to a decrease in porosity from 56.36 to 1.0%.
