PRELIMINARY ISOTOPE STUDIES IN POYANG LAKE

摘要

Poyang Lake is the largest fresh water lake in China, and the largestwetland protection area in Asia. The lake serves as the largest buffer for theYangtze River as well. In order to make better understanding of the waterdynamics, water balance, water chemistry, and the relations between lake, riversand groundwater, isotope investigation has been carried out systematically forone and a half hydrological years. The paper reports the preliminary results ofthe study.
