New solutions in titanium alloy tubular stock, tube and hollow die forging manufacture

1. Titanium alloy tube manufacture that was established under restrictions of planned administration and government technical control, satisfied the companies' demand for tubes of Φ360-477mm. 2. Problems related to access to the world market, tightening of tube quality requirements, need in establishment of alternative processes for titanium alloy tube and hollow die forging manufacture were solved by PSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation specialists jointly with cooperating Russian companies and organizations. 3. New titanium alloy tube and hollow die forging manufacturing system was established that expanded the range of manufactured tube products by alloy grades, dimensions and quality.
