Earned value analysis for software project based on function point method

摘要

Although the software industry develops fast, the failure rate of development is so high. Most of them are resulted from poor project management. This paper introduced Function Point into the measurement of the work performed, and constructed the amendatory earned value method for software project which based on Function Point to improve the management level. Furthermore, through an analysis on prevenient researches, based on Function Point, combined with the process of progress tracking, this paper constructed a framework for software project evaluation process which centered on earned value method.
