摘要

The investigation deals with fuzzy automatic voltage regulators and system stabilizers design with the purpose of the power system stability domain enlargement due to robustness properties of fuzzy control systems. For the fuzzy controller as universal approximator is used as the base concept. The results of power system design and modeling with fuzzy excitation systems are compared with traditional excitation system and their robustness properties are noted. The excitation system with fuzzy voltage regulator and system stabilizer allows to achieve superior control results in case of transients within electrical grids. Due to fuzzy control the excitation system effectiveness in power system for test grid disturbances improves by about 20% in comparison with conventional excitation systems.
