An integrated Systems Engineering and DFSS-based approach to address Cost, Schedule, and Performance requirements and associated uncertainties will be presented. The objective of the requirements-based cost modeling concept is to enable the development team to effectively model life-cycle costs based on system and subsystem requirements early in the development cycle. Key concepts discussed in this presentation include requirements identification, modeling and simulation, and multi-objective optimization.
