Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field that develops methods and software tools for understanding biological data. Computational genomics refers to the use of computational and statistical analysis to decipher biology from genome sequences and related data. This paper will briefly discuss Bioinformatics, its uses, some of its advantages and disadvantages and the ethical concerns regarding the use of Bioinformatics.
