Wikis are excellent tools for distributed authoring, knowledge management and collaboration. Even for inexperienced users the used markup syntax is easy to understand and tends not in an obstacle to participate in the authoring process. Widely used in universities, enterprises and communities, Wikis represent a web based content management system for collaborative working and authoring.
