A high degree of confidence in attribution of owner-ship/control of geographic coordinates, or equivalently, confidence in the output of the point-location problem, viz., "in which region does point (x, y) fall?" can substantially improve the scope of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based services. We propose a novel framework for secure queryable dynamic maps (SQDM), which is borne out of the need for tangible assurances to the point-location problem.
