Structural and optical characteristics of polyaniline films of different thickness obtained on the surface of optically transparent SnO2 electrode by means of electrochemical polymerization method have been investigated. It is found that the increase in thickness of films from 140 to 540 nm leads to crystal formation increase in optical density in the spectral range of 65O-8OOnm. Polyaniline films obtained under optimal conditions show stable optical response and can be used as sensing elements of optical sensors.
