OPTIMAL INTEGRATED COMBINATION OF FOUNDATION CONCEPT AND INSTALLATION METHOD

Within the Dutch R & D program WE@SEA it was investigated what the Dutch site conditions are, what future turbine loads could look alike and in what way this could lead to a distinct foundation method. A method, not only looking at the foundation structure itself but also taking in account the various method of foundation installation. Result of the investigation is that even within the small Dutch North Sea area the range and number of parameters, the project complexity, are to broad to come to one conclusion. Nevertheless conclusions were made which foundation fits best including the installation method.
