The synthesis, isolation and multistage chromatographic separation ofthe Y_2@C_(84), Ce_2@C_(78)N M@C_(82)(M = Y, La, Ce, Gd) was carried out. All thesenewly synthesized metallofullerenes are characterized by S8-MALDI massspectrometry and UV-vis-NIR absorption spectroscopy.
