The goal of this research work is the design and implementation of a post-processing algorithm or "search and localization engine" that will be used for the characterization of partial discharges (PD) and the location of the source in order to assess the condition of paper-oil insulation systems. The PD is measured with at least one acoustic sensor (ultrasonic PZT) and one electric sensor (HF ferrite).
